Studio Painted

Finally have the new studio area painted and ready for the carpet to be installed. I chose a paint color called Cinnamon Roll from Lowes. I always get the semi gloss, always thought it was easiest to clean. Trying to get the color to show in the photos was just a nightmare. Here are a few images of the painted walls, however it looks so much yummier in person!

I plane to decorate with some black accents, sooo hopefully the carpet arrives soon so I can get to the fun part. Decorating the office! :)

I did manage to get one new decal design created and applied to the wall. It's a really pretty TS Eliot quote that I did in a combination of fonts and added a raven.

Where am I?

We moved into our new home back in 2007, My wonderful crafty husband made a post from some used 4x4's for our mailbox and put decorative copper caps just to add a little extra something special to a boring rural route mailbox post. We had the numbers down the side of the post, but it seemed every fedex and ups truck that came by would get confused. partial reason being , no name on our box and our neighbors mailbox has a house number that is higher than ours LOL ( backwards )

I put our name and added a few little fleur de lis to help them see our better. I was getting tired of chasing down the trucks. LOL they would pull up , look out their window, look at their clip board, back their trucks up to go to the neighbors house. Me and my little 4 pound dog bouncing around are running out the front door waving my hands and chasing out after them to stop. hehehe

At least now they can see our name on the mailbox!

This is Kelly .. she's 7 years old.. and only 4 pounds! Shes's a jack russel/toy poodle mix. She's hangs out in the office with me all day when the kids and hubby are at school & work.

Bedroom redo

My 9 year old daughter wanted her bedroom painted blue. so like any willing mom ready to redecorate I took her over to pick out the shade of blue she wanted at Lowe's. I love the fact that Lowe's is only about 5 minutes away. I think we shop there more than the grocery store , Ha!

She has a cute pink comforter and she wanted some butterflies on her wall. I let her pick out the butterfly design so I could make her some vinyl decals. She found the cute daisy she wanted while looking . She was the Best helper! She helped me get them cut and prepared for her wall. I ended sitting on her bed handing her each one so she could have that accomplished feeling you get inside from creating and doing it yourself. ( I only helped reach the high ones) She is pretty proud of her new walls and I'm sooo proud of her...

The last photo is a peek into my daughters bathroom. I picked up the Shower curtain and accessories at Wal*Mart and cut this zoo animal faces silhouette to decorate the wall.

These are really cool to engage the imagination of young children in the waiting rooms of doctors offices, play school centers or birthday parties! New office under construction

Brand new studio office is almost completed.

Household Words started out in a 9'X9' room. A spare bedroom on the top floor of our home to be exact. My husband and I shared this space with 2 desks and literally our chairs backed into each other. This room is on the opposite side of the master bedroom, so we are going to turn the old office into a walk in closet. I know, right? 9' X 9' closet!! excited just about as much as getting new office space.

Just a few pics, currently in the drywall phase. Paint, trim boards, carpet, decorating still ahead. Oh yeah, and some heat! Living in Ohio it's already freezing my toes , so gotta have some heat :)

Live Laugh Love

I had fun creating this cute Tree branch with hanging baroque picture frames wall decal .

I just repainted my office walls with a pretty green I picked up over at Lowes.
( 5 minutes away, gotta love that!) and because I have a wall sconce on this wall above my desk I was wanting something without hanging actual picture photo frames.

I decided to use white to make it really pop out against the green and a chocolate brown bird.
I just Love how the decals look painted onto the wall.

Another business logo vinyl graphic decal. This one was created for LC Enterprises down in Texas. They contacted me looking for a custom design to put in the entrance way of their office.

This one was done in the requested color beige. Which looks absolutely stunning on their red office wall!! it was 63" long X 24" tall.

We got featured in Motorcyclist magazine December 2009 issue!
Our Motorcross Dirt Bike vinyl decal is displayed on page 88.

I was super excited when I was contacted in early October asking if I would like to be be featured in the Holiday Gift Guide section. of course, I said Yes!! :)

WOW.. we were thrilled! My husband raced GNCC. His last race was in 2007, he still rides for fun, and likes to jump anything in his path. He has a Yamaha 250YZ...

We are super ecstatic to have one of vinyl decal designs published in a magazine!!
